All configuration/settings screens available
within the iDyl (Basic / Advanced / etc.) can be password protected
to prevent unintentional or otherwise abuse.
As of v2.9, the mechanism for accessing the
settings screen is as follows.
From any screen, click <Power>, then <1> to enter
the Settings master panel.
If password protection has been enabled, you will
first enter a security screen.
On the security screen, you must enter a 3-digit
code. Correct entry will result in jumping to the Settings
panel.
If you have forgotten your security code, please contact
DF Solutions who can provide a working code. DF Solutions
will ONLY provide a master code to dealers.
Out of the box or upon upgrade, the iDyl does NOT
have password protection enabled. Under the Settings master
panel you will see an option where you can set or remove password
protection.
To enable password protection, go to the
Master Control Panel, then Advanced Settings, then 'Password
Protect Settings' |
