Product Control and Integration

DF Solutions Base and Link Media Servers offer a range of connectivity options, so you have the flexibility and option of controlling your equipment in a number of different ways.

A full mutizone module is available allowing you to control multiple Base and Link units from within a single unified interface. This slick interface offers full cover-art enabled audio-library browsing, advanced track/album/artist/genre search features and onscreen TV control.

The Base and Link are compatible with Ethernet-enabled 2-series Control Processors, offering audio-library browsing/selection/control, from any compatible Crestron panel.

iPhone App

RoomCommander for iPhone/iPod Touch is due for release mid May 2009. RoomCommander will give you whole-house control, browsing and controlling audio in every room of the house (when used with DF Solutions Base and Link products). Supporting cover-art enhanced browsing, and TV GUI control, there has never been a more convenient way of putting on music (Wifi connection required).

IR Remote

Each unit comes with an IR remote, which you can use to control the TV-interface.

The Base™ also offers independent I.R. control sets for audio-output, so outputs 1-17 can each be controlled individually.

Modules are now available for the Philips TSU9600/TSU9400, offering multi-zone TV control, and 2-way browsing of your entire audio library, with album cover-art.

OPUS Systems

The Base Media Server is now compatible with the Opus 500 system, offering multiroom audio browsing and control from Opus keypads (currently only tested with WCU500 panel).

The 1,2 or 5-zone Base™ Media Server offers full-integration with the Speakercraft multiroom system, so you can browse and control audio in up to 4-rooms using the Speakercraft Mode (and iPhone) keypad interfaces
