The iDyl™ lies at the heart of the digital
home. A centralized repository for the family's photos, music
and video, the iDyl can source this media to every room of the
house on demand.
With up to 17 independent audio feeds, the
iDyl provides a CD jukebox in every room of the home.
It also plays video, and in conjunction
with the Video Node product, you can access your digital video
library independently in every room of the home.
With digital photo
storage, you can create slideshows, for distribution to video
display. Why not have a digital picture frame in your
hallway, and be rewarded with different world class art every
day (or even pictures of the family dog if you prefer).
An upgradeable, high specification,
hard-disk based digital media server, the iDyl will change the
way you experience music and video, freeing you from the
confines of the CD-case, localised components in every room,
and cable clutter.
The
iDyl™ differ integrated 3-source audio
switching, uncompressed audio playback, synchronized audio
playback across multiple zones (party-mode), and
upgradeability at a later date.
Adding media to the iDyl™ is simple, and
can be done via any household PC. Simply insert the audio CD,
and software will automatically copy the music to the server,
which can then be accessed immediately in any room.
Video and pictures can also be stored on the iDyl, freeing up
valuable space on your PC, and benefitting from automated
back-up processes when used in conjunction with the
DFSolutions Node product range.
The iDyl can also access and playback
media located on networked PCs and external storage devices.
As such, the playback capacity of the iDyl is virtually
unlimited, so you can encode audio CDs as uncompressed for
superior audio playback quality.
Control is a simple, intuitive process,
with a wide range of control options: Multiroom Control System -
In-wall panels, free-standing touch screens, hand-held remote
controls; integrated into installations controlled by systems
such as Crestron, AMX, Speakercraft, Control 4, Linn and
others, you have the convenience and flexibility to access
your audio and video whenever, wherever you are. Wi-Fi - Wireless control of your multiroom
media server is the ultimate in freedom and
convenience. Using our Wi-Fi enabled
Room
Commander software, or compatible wireless devices (such
as the Philips TSU9600), the true potential of the iDyl™
can be realised. You can have as many or
as few remotes as your budget depicts, and each remote can
control all rooms. As you move around your home, you
simply tell the remote which room you are now in, and it
intelligently switches it's display
accordingly.
I.R. - The
iDyl™ comes with an I.R.
control pad for controlling the iDyl™ directly via TV-out. With an
incredibly easy to use
interface,
and compatibility with learning remotes, you can integrate the
iDyl™ into your existing
A/V setup. PC - You can also control the
iDyl™ via any PC running Windows
2000 or Windows XP™. Completely independent audio
control in each room of the house. Crystal clear 24-bit, 96khz audio to
every room. Wide range of control options,
including Crestron, I.R., PDA and PC. Access your audio library via
artist, album, genre or randomised mode. 4 different playmodes: once,
random, repeat, Auto-DJ. Update and manage your audio
